What shots should I give my newly adopted kitten?

My family just adopted a new kitten. We have yet to give her shots, but we don't want to spend too much money. What shots are needed? She is 11 weeks old if that makes a difference.
Answers:
Rabies and Feline Leukemia. but just so you know, most vets offer a "new kitten" package deal. Mine even gave me more of a discount because I have two kittens. The reason it's best is because the kitten packages come with de-worming, three vet visits, ALL their shots, they test them for everything, etc. When you think about it, it's a pretty good deal andit gives you peace of mind. It was $400 for both my kitties. They let me break it up into three payments, too.
The most important shots are rabies and feline leukemia.
get her the feline lukemia and FIV test, get her booster and rabies for sure...if she will be indoor/outdoor she should get the FIV and FeLUK shot as well. I would recommend getting them all.
Research on line for the spay neuter clinic near you they usually give inexpensive shots as well.
I know this isnt the cheapest, but if you have a coastal Farms around where you live, every saturday they have vets come and do shots for a great price! Its 275 dollars for a set, it gets all the shots done, 3 visits, rabies, a chip that gos inside of them(its like a collar) , 2 kinds of blood tests, and 2-3 dewormings. Your kitty will need a rabies, distemper and leukemia vaccine. It is important that the kitten gets its vaccines boostered 3-4 weeks later due to interference of maternal antibodies.
A feline leukemia and feline aids test is recommended at this time.
The kitten should be dewormed and depending when you live advantage multi should be purchased to prevent fleas, mites, heartworm disease and parasites.
Good luck with the kitty and I hope it is well
usually if you have the kitten's health records and take it to the the vet will know what shots it needs
