What kind of scratching post should I get for a kitten with clipped claws or soft paws?

We want to get 3 or 4 in total, with one especially large good one and the others just small and inexpensive.
Answers:
Declawing is where the bone is cut. Clipped claws means trimming...just like we do with our own nails. It doesn't hurt.
Just try buying one or two things at a time. Different cats like different ones.
It would only need a scratching post to shorten its claws. Since they are gone it won't need one. But you should get one as a 'hide out' place or 'watch tower'.
Another info I would like to give you is that clipping claws is traumatising to cats because claws are not like fingernails.
A cat's claw is part of the bone. So clipping them is like cutting your finger in the middle off.
The human societies are working on making it illegal.
